I'm trying to find a new pair of lightweight running shoes to wear around campus/town and usually Nike is my go-to brand. Last year I was able to get a simple grey shoe. This year, everything they offer is neon or ghetto. It's amazing that you can't even find a basic shoe. Everything looks like a shitty prototype.

Early to mid 90s. The problem with NIKE is they've been going the fashion over form more and more over the last 20 years.

I bought a pair several years ago on a recommendation from someone on here. They have been the best running/workout shoes I have ever owned. I wish I could buy the same pair over again but they were of course discontinued.

Some of the bright colors look nice, but they are super tacky for every day use as they don't match with most clothes.

Most Nikes seem to either be super bold or very bland. Rarely can you find a well balanced neutral shoe. The all black ones typically look like something you would wear as part of a uniform.
