I stayed at the Motel 6 in Meridian(every thing else was booked after Katrina for the game at Alabama-2005 OT Thriller.. Full of refugees...bigger Saints fans, but met some really cool baws, they let us take a look at their guns and point them around for a few pics..was pretty fun.
it was kinda rough, the no smoking room just meant the ash tray was turned over..outdoor flood lights for the room lighting..only stayed the friday night before....couldn't do a 2nd night, just keep driving after the game

Hotels are for poors. I buy homes everywhere i visit.

Living in hotels is for the uber rich and uber poor. And baws working in the Permian. And drug addicts, which can apply to all of the above.

Your post sounds like every episode of The First 48 when it's in Tulsa. That show gives the impression that everyone under 40 years old lives in motels. This is what they look like.

Pretty much any motel/hotel on Reiger Road in Baton Rouge will be the home if extensive drug use and any other crime you can imagine. Those places are complete shitholes because of the addicts.
