This may sound crazy...but I would search high and low for a Honda Crosstour.
The newest ones are going to be around 10 years old...but:
1. They are Accords, so they are reasonably reliable;
2. They are FWD or AWD (I'd opt for the AWD so they are good for different weather);
3. I've seen them on FB Marketplace with around 100k miles for around $14k;
4. NHTSA 4-stars for Driver and Passenger (front and rear) Crash Ratings for both frontal and side impacts.
They are ugly, and kind of utilitarian...but they are safe, reliable, and relatively fuel efficient (22/31 with the 4 cyl & 20/30 with the 3.5L V6) for what they are.

Girl in pic would get a Lexus or Mercedes. For your daughter you already mentioned the top 4, but go ahead and throw in CRV and HRV also.

Cross tour in covington
I had never really looked in to these to I looked it up. Would be a solid kids car for sure.

In my opinion, they are really undervalued in the marketplace compared to other sedans. Kids hate them because they think they are ugly, I guess.
