Panzrams a good one. The serial killers fascinate me. Especially as they cover their early life. Most had head trama, were abused by one or both parents, and/or tortured animals. Theres also a pretty big theory on lead paint and the explosion of serial killers in the 70s.

This is where it all started for me-

And the rest, as they say, is history.

They don’t still do that one right?

They stopped for 7 years, then returned. They’ve been off for about a year now. Hopefully, it comes back.

The first few seasons of Reply All are great. The series where one of the host’s befriends a spam caller from India, and goes to India to meet him is great.

Heavyweight is pretty good.

I like some Crime Junkies episodes, but they can be hit or miss.

Seasons 1 and 3 of Serial are great, season 2 was pretty boring.

This American Life has some good episodes.

I’m not in the road as much with a new job so don’t listen to them as much.

I like crime junkie but I absolutely loathe the cohost. She adds absolutely nothing to the podcast

Just got into them and I'm just not a fan of how they present the crimes. It's just them giving their opinions on the crime they're covering. I'm more a fan of the style that Crime Town uses. It's more story telling with interviews of the real characters.

That's easily my favorite but I've listened to all of them now and am searching for a new one. Testing out Generation Why right now. It seems like it's the same style as Crime Junkies but at least the guys are pretty good at it.

If you haven't listened to Crime Town, man...I highly recommend it. Start from the beginning with Providence. It tells the story of Providence Rhode Island and how the mafia ran it, then goes on to the story of their infamous mayor, Buddy Cianci.

Revolutions by Mike Duncan. Highly recommend for history nerds—especially the most recent season on the Russian Revolution.

it is damn good. French and Haitian revolutions were really good too.

The History of Rome is good too. Nice short podcast that you can bang out over the course of a year
