re: What's your crackpot theory?

Brah, you've still got about 10 months more to work on that before next season.

My friends and I in high school came up with the theory that Adolf Hilter survived World War II and owned Burlington Coat Factory. He maintained control of his stores via television monitors in a secret room, and had become a hermit like Howard Hughes.

I was just thinking on this today while walking. The fact that we are here at all is very surreal. I keep waiting to wake up from a dream. What we will wake up to is my crackpot theory.

We will wake up to eating cereal and Saturday morning cartoons. Then a nap. Then a football game.

Nice. As an aside/hijack, I am hoping Ridley Scott is taking the upcoming movie Alien Covenant in that direction. Hoping that the big reveal on The Engineer's planet is that all life was created by machine intelligence (given the prior relationships with human characters and cyborgs)

Interstellar travel will not occur via conventional approaches using propulsion systems. Interdimensional travel via mechanisms we have not discovered/understand will be the way (CERN)

The root of much of current disease/cancer in Western civilization stems from poor decisions that were made by science / government policy limiting saturated fat/cholesterol from our diet. Somehow, the powers that be felt it wise to advise frequent small meals of mainly plant based carbohydrate based food sources to the masses (Based on poor observational studies by a biased researcher who was known to talk down all others who opposed him).

This, despite the fact that we evolved killing and eating animals, fasting between kills, and managing times of food scarcity. The ancestral diet was predominantly animal fat and protein (some argue that this is what allowed development of the human brain and us to become humans). Fasting was a common phenomenon (and not surprisingly incorporated into many wise ancient cultural practices/religions). We have only just recently dismissed this as bullshite in the hubris of our arrogance. There is no money or product to sell with fasting...

We are currently mismatched/ out of balance from the conditions we evolved in. Good luck all...
