I just took a walk around the neighborhood with the wife and kid. It was good to get out the house for a bit

Practicing guitar a ton (beginner), reading, and hanging out with darkness, my black lab. Although, I think it’s getting close to being time for a whiskey.

Going down the Youtube music rabbit hole. There is some incredibly good music from all over the world, some of which has millions of views but you won't hear on the radio here. I record the audio and burn CDs for my car.
"Get Ready For The Roaring Twenties", appropriate title for these times, eh? Maybe can do the Charleston to it.
Who knows
What the future holds
For you and Me?
Expect the worst
For what it's worth
But hope for the best
And forget about the rest.
For just one example, give a listen to Sina Doering, a girl from Germany, and her collaborators from all over the world. She is primarily a drummer, who began playing professionally at age 11 (now 18 or 19), but she fills in on guitar, bass, piano, and backup vocals.
What is amazing is the breadth of musical genres she has produced, from rock to jazz to orchestral. Skip the drum covers, unless you are into that. Not on your crappy laptop speakers - plug in a sound system or headphones. Just search Youtube for "Sina-Drums" and these cuts first, along with the mentioned "Roaring 20s":
"Evenstar" - Orchestral, could be part of a Lord of the Rings soundtrack, sung in Elvish ...
"Dejame Una Palabra", instrumental knockout
"Kylie Jenner", pop
"Last Night a DJ Saved My Life", don't know what to call it, but a nice thumping bass line.
"Summer Salsa", yep, a salsa one might picture in a European film about a summer romance. "Let's dance in the moonlight, everything's gonna be alright."
"Black Velvet", cover of the 1990 Alanna Myles song about Elvis, with sultry vocals by an Australian girl and excellent guitar work by a teen boy from Romania who seems to be the reincarnation of Carlos Santana (technically not yet dead).
"Doing the Wrong Thing the Right Way", invokes Norah Jones
There's lots more, but TLDR, Music Board, yada yada.

Went to Lowe's and Menards and stocked up on material to do several projects I wanted to get done this summer. Homeschooling the kids while they are out and I reentered the world of online poker.
