I'm not saving any for later like a soft drink. I'm drinking it NOW.

It is nice to put the top back on so I don't spill any while driving tho

Some places have rules about drinks having lids on them. Also, maybe someone would rather put a lid on it and put it back in the cooler rather than pouring it out if their activity is interrupted. Maybe they're fishing and have shite to do on their rig and don't want their beer to get warm.

I've only seen them on either metal or plastic bottles and that's a manufacturing issue - much easier/economical to have those tops on them than the traditional glass bottle top.
The reason for plastic or metal bottles is because some places don't allow glass.

Dude those 16 oz beers with the screw on caps are perfect for drinking at the pool. Throw one in the deep end and it bobs right up to the top. Jump in and grab it. Open the top and drink some beer. Screw the top back on and swim to the shallow end. Kill the rest as you talk to your buddies as everyone's kids swim and keep themselves busy.
You're missing it.
You're missing it.

Agree, any beer that is opened must be promptly consumed, no matter how it's opened. Just as John Daly.

I don't usually have a need for it, but it's nice to have the capability to put the cap back on. That's a good thing, why are you complaining about it?

twist cap comes in handy if your'e driving and need to text someone. never spill a drop.

Good for fishing too, always seem to kick beers over while fishing. Top back on and you don't have to worry about it.
