You always hear from people there's absolutely nothing to do there, which I find unbelievable seeing as there's a huge land grant research university there. How could there possibly be nothing to do?

There's a nice little downtown area and you can go to Urbana as well...is it Chicago, no...but warning, Chicago is about 2 hours one way and you have to worry about traffic...

I go up there fairly often for work...
