You don't have to imagine since it's been done. It's called the boats or the tub. What they do is stick you in a boat and nail another boat on top of it to where your head, hands and feet are all sticking out. From there they feed you tons of milk and honey to the point of nausea, and then cover your face, hands, and feet with it as well. They then toss you out into a swamp at dawn and then drag you back in at dusk. In addition to having to sit all day in the heat, bugs and flies have been attacking you all day and are laying eggs all over you and inside of you as you swim in your own excrement. The next morning they feed you milk and honey again and then throw you back in the swamp. You are then slowly eaten alive from the inside out by maggots for weeks.
