We were diving some rigs out in Eugene Island on a big shrimp boat.
Buddy of mine was on the ladder when someone in the wheelhouse threw the boat in gear.
Pulled him off of the ladder and sucked him through a 60" wheel shrouded by a kort nozzle.
Yea, it was a long trip home...

Dad and my best friend died from pancreatic cancer. How can we not have early detection of the deadliest cancer 50 years in and gazillions of dollars of research.

A guy I knew, he ran a billion dollar accounting firm. His oldest son went to Ole Miss but subsequently dropped out as he stood to inherit a billion dollars in assets and royalties from Shell.

His dad was a semi likable guy but his Mexican ranch hand bowed out from cutting the grass bc there was a huge hornet/bee nest so the dad said “eff you I’ll cut it my damn self”. So he hops on the mower and hit the hornets nest. He was bitten a billion times and rode the mower to try and get away from them. In the process, he hit a hill and flipped his mower which then proceeded to sever his femoral artery. Autopsy couldn’t determine if he died from the blood loss or from the hornets which bit him.

Had a friend rear ended on I55 by big rig, burned up in his Honda.
Oddest was one of my silent partners was on a multiple overnight offshore fishing trip.
2 days outmone of the guys dies of a massive heart attack. They iced him down in the coffin ice chest. The next afternoon, as I am told the body is ICed down in the same ice chest as the beer. Someone I have no idea who, opens the ice chest, moves his arm and grabs a beer. All of the above is strange, but true.

Friend of mines Dad grabbed hold of the bridge as the boat when under the tressle in front of Tin Lizzie’s. The boat reversed to come back and get him and he slipped and and fell on top of the prop. His torso was pulled back into the boat with no legs...:tragic, he died like that in front of his wife and friends

Ran up under one of those flat bed tow trucks and wasn’t decapitated but took the metal edge to the face. Closed casket.

knew a woman who was beaten, burned in her car, body chopped into pieces and thrown in a river.

How is that even possible? They beat her up, burned her while she was in her own car, waited for it to cool down and took her out to cut her up in little pieces before tossing her in the river? Hmmm

Thank you. But to be honest I don't remember them any more than I remember your parents. The car accident happened two weeks after my first birthday.

Who ended up raising you? That’s terrible

Stepsister, her infant child, and my dad's exwife lived in a trailer after their divorce. Electrical fire in the kitchen cut access off to front bedroom. Stepmother got out and step sister was able to pass the baby out through the very small bathroom window. Stepsister had been in the process of bathing prior to the fire. She climbed back in the tub to try to buy time, but boiled to death.

Employee of mine speeding on a crotch rocket was beheaded.
