Having to wait on a series of promotions for people at work, so I can also promote up a position. Should know next week if my shot will come...luckily if this one works out, my promotion should be an A to B process.

My first real car. It was only 6 months old. I gave him a deposit..sign an affidavit and had witnesses. He disappeared for a couple of days. It all worked out..but those few days I thought I had lost a couple thousand.

Genetic tests for my middle son. Waited 3 months to find out if he had a fatal or manageable disease. Made it by the grace of God and good friends who helped distract me. (FYI...manageable).

At 16, waited all weekend on a sure thing of getting to bang the girl I'd wanted for years.
