Dude, you need to expand your definition of nonstop because one tank of gas can only take you so far.

That we understand it's not the definition of non stop most people operate with.

When we think of non stop, we think sustained driving with nothing but fuel and food stops until you get to your destination.

Cincinnati for a wedding on New Years down to Ft Lauderdale for the National Championship game against Miami took about 17 hours. Might equal it driving from Midland, TX to Nashville for a wedding in November.

Longest I did drive trading out with someone was 27 hours from Tuscaloosa to Vegas.

ETA: for the stricter definition, it’s about 8 hours From Midland to Shreveport

The reading comprehension in this thread is proof of the decline of society.

The common parlance of the driving era is does not describe a pit stop as significant enough break in driving to be considered as a halt in a trip. The way the OP was worded could easily be construed as having meant the longest near-continuous driving trip one had taken.

If you want to be so strict with the following if the OP’s wording, then you should only count times that you didn’t even stop at a traffic signal. Is that how you took the OP’s question?

Think I did Dallas to Baton Rouge a couple times.

Had to stop last time. The range when doing slightly above the speed limit sucks.

Neighbor and I left Shreveport early one morning with big cups of coffee and did not stop until we hit Tuscaloosa, about 6 hours. It still amazes me that neither of us had to pee after all that coffee.
