I have a Charger with a 5.7 hemi and every option available. It is a great car and I love it. I couldnt really care less about the opinion of some people on a message board.

I liked the new Challengers and Chargers when they first came out, but now they have a ghetto stigma.

What I found was that the AA stigma of Challengers/Chargers was limited to Louisiana
I saw a ton of whiteys driving them in Orlando

I rented the 2 door one challenger(?) from Alamo last time I flew into NOLA. Hauled arse to the berry down hwy 90 with the quickness. I liked the car it feal gud

I don't know, but I saw a brand new Challenger on the side the expressway in New Orleans one morning last week, with some brothas and sistas standing next to it, where the front drivers side wheel had completely come off..

It's a pretty solid car, the only problem i can see is that they used tue basic Dodge dash and wheel until relatively recently which doesn't fit with the overall character of the vehicle. Picked one up about 6-8 months ago to replace a WRX, even the Hemi gets better mileage and is quieter (until you open it up).
It's a muscle car not a 3 Series or an E class.
All that said they can be pretty tasteful if you get blacked out rims instead of massive chromes- the straight black or straight white look clean.
Handles like pig though, like worry about rim scratches wide- its the best American almost GT type car I've driven outside of a Corvette though- comfy seats tons of interior space and it eats up miles.
