i would have thought so to, but this was at the same my wife had the 2008 BMW 335i... that one was governed for sure... i topped out at 120 and it didn't go faster than that.... so i tried in my 2009 G37, and it was faster...

i was on Hwy. 22 between Hwy. 44 and the interstate....

138 in a Trans Am on I10 between Siegen and the 10/12 split. I computed my speed using RPMs. Anything over 100mph and speedometers tend to be inaccurate. And I'm not buying a 150+ run from New Orleans to Baton Rouge. Traffic comes up very fast and screws with your speed. Plus the engine and tires are not built for that sustained speed for that long.
