Upvote. Well put. I was definitely guilty of feeling entitled to the 'standard of life I had become accustomed to'.
That was cured long ago.

I like this one. Growing up you always just assume that adults are basically always right and wise.
But actually they're just the same idiots that you know except older

I'm graduating in August and worry about this a lot. I worked hard in school and sacrificed a lot of good times that other people experience, so it really wasn't fun. I have a great job lined up and keep telling myself that it has GOT to be better than what I'm doing now, not the subject matter, but the overall amount of time/stress--but what if it is actually worse?...
Agreed. I'm about to graduate nursing school and I've had no life the last 3 years. And you can ask any nurse they will tell you nursing school is WAY harder than being a nurse.

Everyone going all serious in this thread.
I know for me personally I remember growing up going to tailgates and being nervous and quiet and respectful around the adults. They were clearly grown-ups and being mature.
Now I know half those fvckers pick-up Rednecks from Zippy's at 7 AM on the way to tailgate and don't stop until they get home at midnight hahaha.
