When you work with idiots, the most a-hole move is when they walk in the door.

Taking the elevator up or down one floor. Literally takes half the time to use the stairs. It’s always either some fat frick or a dot head working in IT.

The worst though is when someone copies the world on an email when those CCed have nothing to do with the action item or request. That boils my blood.

I actually do the opposite. If I happen to be working at night and need to send something out, I delay delivery until the morning so everyone thinks I’m insanely efficient and get everything done during business hours

During Mardi Gras I’m always the first one to bring the weekly King Cake and whoever gets the baby is expected and it’s a known rule that you bring the next cake the following week. I’ve seen people deliberately get a piece of KC then come back to put the baby in the next slice of cake to avoid having to buy the next cake.

Do you ask people if they want to go to lunch and then expect them to pick up the tab or some shite?

Did you call them out?

Being the office snitch is probably the biggest A-hole move!

Or leaving it there for weeks and when someone finally cleans it out it has mold growing in it.

truth, have you ever heard any stories about the person who eats the baby just so they didn't have to buy the cake...

up here in Vicksburg, I have a reputation of the person who gets the best king cake (prefer Haydel's, but Gambino's or Donna Randazzo also have a good product) and it's something I do willingly throughout the season...

I'm an process operator, so I work in a control room. There are guys that cannot leave to go get lunch, or guy's that are busy as shite sometimes and cannot make it.
If someone is going across the street to the lunch cafeteria, it's just common curtesy to ask if anybody wants anything. Not many of us eat there, mostly the single guys eat there.
I find the lunch food nasty, so I RARELY eat there.
I will go in the morning and grab a breakfast (which are decent), and I always ask if anyone wants anything. Usually one of the board operators will take me up on my offer.

Your response makes more sense now with that context. That being said, your “office setting” isn’t a typical one.

I work in a normal office. Its located in town, everyone gets a lunch hour and can do what they please with it. If I’m going out to grab lunch, I sure as hell am not offering delivery services to anyone else nor would I expect them to.

What is the ONE thing that someone does in an office that pisses you off more? Examples: Not remaking coffee after emptying pot Not replacing water jug on cooler after they empty it into their 32oz Yeti Going out to lunch and not offering to pick someone's lunch up Using last of the toilet paper and not going to get another roll emptying the coffee canister and not refilling it with a new package of grounds

None of which is my job.

There was a NOLA lawyer who jizzed on his coworkers keyboard so that’s probably the most a-hole office move
