What's the best website for used car values?

NADA?
Kelly Blue Book?
Other(true car, Edmunds, etc)?
I realize none of these will give me what a dealer will give for trade in value but which one do you think is best at anticipating an approximate value based upon honest input?
Thanks.

They all favor the dealer. All of these accept money from dealers. Blue Book, true car and Edmunds are likely the worst. NADA, not sure. Look at all of them and if you're selling, sell for more.

All the websites that quote values are not going to be accurate in most cases. The hook is they are giving you free info, they make their money by selling advertising clicks and selling leads to dealers. It doesn't matter if their quotes are accurate they get paid either way. In fact the higher they quote you the more likely you are to keep going back.

Those quotes are worthless because none of them will back up their quotes with cash. A car is worth what someone will pay for it. If all those sites quote a car between $16000 and $19000 on trade but never put any money and a dealer offers $15000 who do you think is giving you a true value?

NADA will give you trade values.
Most banks use NADA.

NADA is what the banks base their loan amounts off of in the used car market.
NADA is a good answer to your question.
An even better answer is to spend some time looking at what used vehicles similar to make, model, mileage are yielding in the private seller & retail markets to get a ballpark idea of what your used vehicle is worth.
You will do better selling it on your own outright than trading it in.

NADA is the most accurate IMO.
