Now I am gonna raise hell with AT&T. I was grandfathered in also but I pay about 110 for unlimited everything for 1 phone.
You didn't see my other post. My work has a deal with AT&T. I get 25% off my bill because of it. That's why my bill is only $74.
Many companies do work discounts with cell phone providers, check and see if the company you work for has one.
ETA: I have an iphone6s plus...that I got on the apple plan separate from AT&T so that I could get a new phone every year and have the apple care coverage. So my $74 a month doesn't include what I pay for my actual iPhone.

..and get throttled to hell.
Paying $90 before taxes for the same grandfathered plan. Still garbage....

What makes me mad at myself...they have had this 25% discount thing available at work for a few years now. I just never bothered to look into it. It wasn't until a coworker told me about it that I looked into it.

I had sprint, it was terrible. It did get better over time, but it is nowhere near what ATT is.
Yea, it has got a lot better. I guess since around 2014.

ST is probably my route to take because we use up ALOT of data

You are only throttled now if you go over 22gb a month. There were headlines everywhere about this change several months ago.
I hardly ever use wifi on my phone now(wifi at the hospital I work at is horrible, my phone data is WAYY faster). Also phone data....I'm never throttled now either. Before the change...yes I noticed it.

What is the flat rate per month and what is covered in the plan for Cricket?
Posted on 5/4/16 at 1:58 pm to Thacian
throttled internet but for most it's fine.

Tell you from experience, the coverage is getting better but is shaky outside of cities and main highways.
I had ATT for 10 years and I've had ST for over 3. I didn't miss a beat. I get the same exact service I had before which is great. Only knock I have on ST is the lack of family plans and their customer service is useless.
Are you using the right APN settings?

Throttled is a major understatement. It's practically useless but since they bumped from 3 to 5GB I haven't gone over.

Dude. Go switch to Project Fi first. You get a damn good phone for $199/$249.
No contract. If you don't like the service cancel and go to Straight Talk with your brand new Nexus 5x

T-Mobile. Four phones, unlimited talk and text, 10 gb of data per line, and financing 2 iphones. $185.00 per month. I never have any trouble with service except between BR and Lafayette and other minor blips.

One phone uses 20gigs a month(sr in hs about to go to lsu), the other two phones use around 5 to 10gigs a month sometimes less....project fi will be to high for me because of the data...ST is the ticket for my situation ,however it would be awesome to only pay 20 a month...and the phones I have would work on ST...SO no purchasing new phones...
