Where do you get project fi? And is 40 the highest you'll go?
Service is $20. Unlimited calls, texts and also unlimited international calls, even able to use your Google phone in Mexico.
They are also running a special right now.
Switch to their network (no contract) and you can purchase a 16 gb Nexus 5X phone for $199 or the 32 gb model for $245

We got our daughter onto a plan with Cricket, which uses AT&T towers. Similar to Straight Talk, but it was a better deal for us and our situation. Discounts for auto-pay set-up and multiple lines, so we're thinking about getting my husband one as well since his phone through work limits him a bit. So far no problems with coverage or speed. She actually has better coverage in some areas out of town than we do with our Verizon phones.
I like that it's a flat rate (taxes etc included) and there are no "overage" fees. I also like that there are stores everywhere, so if we have problems or questions, we can go into someplace and get help.

We have unlimited data grandfathered in on my phone but the SO has 10GB for her plan.
Believe mine comes out to $90 with unlimited, how can I knock off another $15 bucks?

The SO uses about 10GB a month and I used about 20GBs.
This wouldnt be enough. I stream a lot of work blocks spotify and other streaming services.

Usually doesn't have good coverage, that is why the price is right.
No, it's the same as ATT. I have great coverage.

No.
Personal Cell - ATT
Work Cell - Sprint
Tell you from experience, the coverage is getting better but is shaky outside of cities and main highways.

quote:yes. Straight talk leases towers directly from ATT.
No.
Edit: And Verizon and Sprint.
Depends on what model phone you're using on their network.

just switched a few months ago from Straight Talk to Project Fi.
I commute a lot. How is Google voice and coverage outside?
Have a N5X and N6 that can be used. Just was scared of coverage and losing my ATT unlimited data.

Is it a phone issue radio then?
Edt: The Sprint phone is an iPhone5.

Data is kinda spotty compared to ST for me but i do not need to use mobile data all the time like some do so i take advantage of the cost savings.

10+20= 30
1 Gig to spare
If I only had two devices my bill would be $150

Had for a while.sprint barely worked anywhere in Louisiana. It was terrible.

Yeah, was scared about the voice.
Spotty data coverage for me is okay. I mostly just DL my podcast in the morning at home and when they are streamed, even decent data is enough to let it buffer.

Grandfathered into unlimited data at AT&T
Now I am gonna raise hell with AT&T. I was grandfathered in also but I pay about 110 for unlimited everything for 1 phone.

We have 2 Iphone 6S Plus and 2 Ipads on AT&T.
We have unlimited talk and text and share 15gb of data with rollover.
We pay $165/mo which includes the Next plan on 1 of the phones.
We got one of the phones free for trading in 2 old Iphone 4S's.

i havent had a dropped call yet. Going on 2 full months now

I had sprint, it was terrible. It did get better over time, but it is nowhere near what ATT is.
I've been on ST for a few months, it's worlds better. Note that the unlimited data is high speed for the first 5GB only. That is just about right for me, so I love it.
