I've never had a hat reach the point of me having to throw it out. I'll lose it before that happens.

golf hats last a season for me. oldest hat I have is 10 years old. plan on keeping that for as long as I can.

I used to lose them to the Gulf every other year. Now they last about 5.

I have a Red Sox hat I bought 6.5 years ago. It’s worn it, which is how I like my hats. Won’t buy a new one until it falls apart.

5 years of not lost. Sweat, fade, sludge gets em. I have a few that I rarely wear to keep them nice. Those would go 10+ years.
