I wouldnt go that far. Anyone that actually does any real math for a living doesnt have to guess as to what the person who wrote the formula intended. Thats why almost all formulas use parenthesis to eliminate confusion.

6^2/2(3) + 4
6^2= 6X6= 36
so 36/2(3) + 4
2(3)= 6 + 4
So 36/6 + 4
36/6 = 6
so 6+4 = 10.
