Pretty sad when a singly computer glitch can ground thousands of planes and 10's of thousands of passengers instantly. Why can't the pilots just continue flying their routes?

Weight and balance software issue only disrupting mainline domestic flights in the lower 48 states.

Alaska/Hawaii, international and united express flights are not affected.

Somebody probably just tripped over the extension cord, triggering a full investigation procedure before any flights can take off again.

My little sister's United flight got delayed 3hrs last week because of a software glitch. Probably the Russians

About two weeks ago, flying United, 3 flights all to the same location were delayed. After sitting in the airport for 3 hours (the two other flights had been there since 6am), United got 1 plane working. Instead of figuring out a solution to get everyone on a flight, they said over the intercom "This flight is now first come first serve, all your tickets will work for this flight, take any seat you want."

Talk about a mess...
