Yes. I don't know what is so hard to grasp about it. Its a medical disorder. You should read up on generalized anxiety disorder. There are plenty of articles, and studies out there. Its not some kind of made-up, hypochondrial thing.

When you do the CBD THC ratio do you get a paranoid high?

What strain of pot does not give you a paranoid high?

Federally legal cannabinoids must contain less than 0.3% THC.

CBD will not get you high.

Delta 8 etc are a different story.

You are not going to rationalize severe anxiety. It is not something that you can reason your way into understanding

Hell most people going through it understand the thoughts causing the problem are irrational.

I do think medication should be last case option though. Although maybe something natural like CBD could be a good option (or at least something significantly better than zoloft and clonazepam) as a bridge with therapy

IMO it’s best to just get a lower thc marijuana if available.

I don’t know the different things, but this sounds more like OCD.

I think it’s because we have two generations that have all self diagnosed themselves with anxiety.

I know its hard to understand for people who don't suffer from it, but its not that simple for a lot of folks.

Having lived most of my life without GAD before I was diagnosed, I fully understand why it's so hard for many folks to understand. Anxiety disorder is nothing at all like the every day worries that everyone has. You're not just laying there wondering why life is unfair. When my anxiety is high, it's as if I'm in a non stop panic attack that can take days to subside. Sweating and flushed skin, rapid heartbeat, irritability, complete inability to sleep, feelings of intense dread, feeling disoriented, shaking, lack of energy or desire to do much of anything, etc. The lack of sleep in an already heightened state only makes it that much worse until it subsides.
