Welcomed my second granddaughter into this world, thankfully got to clean out my garage, and a homeade key lime pie.

My daughter helped me pick a bucket of Lima beans, shuck them and cooked them and cooked us each a big ribeye.

As I watched golf she slipped out an hour before the rain in my truck, took it to Geaux Clean, washed and detailed the inside including cleaning the inside of the windshield. Then got it home in the garage 10 minutes before the rain hit.

Cool kid.

Not a thing. Only one of my three called. No doubt, I must have been a shitty Dad.

A weekend getaway in Austin and Round Rock for the Astros AAA team. Hit some breweries too. Great first father's day weekend.

I made the mistake years ago of telling my wife how much I like my Tumi backpack. Now I get something new from Tumi each year. I have multiple bags and suitcases now. They last forever, so I will never even use them all. It makes her happy though. Kids cooked me breakfast and dessert.

Many will downvote simply because I'm a stepdad.

I got the gift I really wanted this weekend which was a worx hydroshot that I really wanted and can't wait to use.

I married my wife in 2005, I'd had known her and her children since 1991. I'd had watched her children grow up and had pretty much spent every fathers day with just me and her as her children would go spend fathers day with their dad. It eventually wore on me as they lived in my house and I provided food and shelter for them.

This year my oldest daughter posted on her FB that she wanted to say happy father's day to the two men in her life that took care of them. My heart was pierced, she'd posted pics of us on the front porch and at Universal last year.

I was a broken man today as I realized love does reward.

Downvote away.

If the gift was before sunrise does that still count as Saturday night?

Got my dad a shirt and shorts. His birthday is coming up so usually I don’t go too big. My father in law, took him to dinner since everyone is out of town.

got another year spending time with my dad. Me and my son and my two brothers took him to the Astros yesterday. Tomorrow we will be disc golfing barring the weather. He’s 64 but we try to keep his mind young.
I am glad you got time with your Dad, but I read this thinking he was more like 94.

I got two shirts. I get two shirts every year. But I love shirts and I love homemade cards so I got what I love.

yep, if you keep yourself in decent shape, 64 isn't old anymore, I've got a friend that's 64 that has won our company's(>125k,) singles and doubles tennis tournament for 3 years in a row, no age brackets

BTW, where did that some from? Asking for a friend.
