I went to Pride in Seattle. And my wife's gay uncle just happened to be in Seattle the same week and went with us. So many banana hammocks, but also quite a few nice boobs as well.
The uncle was a lot more uncomfortable than us
He kept saying "I'm proud, but not that proud"
But he is the type that if you didn't know, you would never know he was gay as he is a staunch conservative wealthy businessman. You can only tell after a few glasses of scotch.

If youre in a public place, you dont get to determine whos a 'guest,' and whether they can or cannot take photos, i support gay rights, but thats just stupid.
How do ask someone for a picture when they're in a parade? By the time you could ask, it's too late to get your picture.
I've been in a lot of parades, and can't imagine expecting someone to ask for a picture. Afterwards, yeah, I could see asking someone. During the parade, they're just being delusional.

ACTUALLY, we are not the guest...YOU PEOPLE are a guest in our space sooooooo you act accordingly and the rest of us (which is way more than you) will probably not bother you.

Yeah I think the comments make it pretty clear that the author's "rules" are not representative of most participants or the event itself.
That's an understatement. That article is one of the dumbest things I've ever read.

I took my daughter to Pride in San Francisco. It was like Mardi Gras, with less drunks. Plus we got to see Nancy Pelosi and Mike Rowe.
