Your right I agree it was a highly charged situation that couldve put me years of legal issues. I tried to get him to go peacefully but he just wouldnt shut up and go. I regret not popping him right out though cause he irritated the shite outta me.

Call the cops and wait inside keeping my eye on him.
Seeking out an altercation just creates the opportunity for something to go wrong. Either you create a situation where you get a bad kill, and you get sent away for it or at the least have to deal with the legal process of being investigated or actually tried, or you get yourself seriously hurt or killed when he turns the table on you. It isn't worth it to risk it over some property. If he tries to break into your house then you shoot him.

The day I was moving into my new house... late at night I was moving some stuff from my metal building to the house, when I saw a car coming down my driveway with the lights off. (I live about 1000' or so off of the main road)
Fortunately for me one of the things I was moving was an AR15 and a couple of cans of bullets. Talk about shitty timing by these two assholes. I watched them a while and when they got out of the car I recognized them from the framing crew. Told them I called to cops and that they were on video and to get the hell off my land. F'n meth heads.

1. Call 911
2. I'm a hot head so I just couldn't let it continue. Put the lazer on my .45 on his torso and order him on his knees. Should he decide to run I would not shoot, impede, nor chase him. The one time I was in this scenario, when i lived on Acadian, I ran outside and gave chase. i got back to the truck and saw that he had only got two cel phone chargers, yet broke the window. I then drove the truck around looking for him, glad I didn't see him, I wanted to run him over.

Police came and I got a new window the next day, the next week my neighbors car got broken into. A week later I moved (for different reasons)
