If I go for runs or walks I do it in a gym. Nowhere is really safe after dark these days.

I really don't get why the imbeciles on this board are always so triggered about women speaking out about sexual abuse.

Honestly? Yeah. A lot of them are. You rarely see women jogging the lakes at night, for instance.

Yeah, well, I won't do that either, and I'm a white male.

I didn't realize being out after 9PM meant I was sexually assaulting a woman. I better get on a plane to Venezuela because I must have about 10,000 warrants out for my arrest.

When does this go from being “look at those silly ppl on twitter” to “Oh shite, this is a macro cultural shift against men in general and maybe we need to be worried”?

Also, OP is kind of depressing because I'm struggling to remember the last time I was out after 9. We'll occasionally try to go out just to get bored and come home.

A 9:00pm curfew wouldn't change my life at all.

The default narrative is that any woman can accuse any man of any sort of impropriety and she has to be believed without question. Women can now ruin a man's life and there are no repercussions for her making false allegations.

Those of us who have been paying attention saw this coming two years ago when Hillary Clinton said "any woman who claims sexual abuse deserves to believed until the evidence proves otherwise" which quite obviously means "every man accused of sexual assault is guilty until he presents evidence that proves he's innocent"

It's ridiculous at this point. I have two 26 years old s and neither of them are into dating because women can no longer be trusted.

Read thru some of the responses, and about what could be expected. Words fail. Women do get a lot of crap out there; there are men who see nothing wrong with going beyond a certain line. There are men who see no line at all. While likely a minority of men are that way, enough are. And that gives all of us guys a bad reputation. Maybe deservedly so.

Like all Muslims are not terrorists, all men are not rapists or misogynists. But for many, the silence of the peaceful Muslims kind of feeds the impression that they tacitly approve what the terrorists goals and behaviors are. Likewise the relative silence of the non rapist male population (a majority) may do little to stem the radical feminazi/progressive drive to turn normal maleness into a perceived and toxic pathology in our culture.

Guys, and women who see thru the ideologically driven push to install a gender based form of sharia law against men, speak up. Confront the men who commit verbal or physical abuse against women. But also confront this emerging toxic movement to marginalize men as a gender. There are so many examples of this out in our culture already.

Your kids are either lazy or gullible. Plenty of women out there are not like these weirdos at all. I know because I married one. She’s 26

Its almost like the Left is trying to... divide men and women in this country. Black vs white wasn't good enough, so it had to come to this.

If I've ever met a man that wouldn't roundly condemn any rape brought to his attention, I didn't know it. Not to say I haven't, but it would certainly be rare. What do you suggest the average man do to break this supposed silence?

We all need to come out and say “rape is not good.”

I don't think anybody decent is letting a rapey male just do his thing unchecked. I don't know of any friends who have ever sexually assaulted someone, but I'd certainly step in if I knew of one. I only had one fraternity brother who was blackout one night and got a little aggressive with a sorority girl and his own pledge class kicked his arse and drug him out of the bar.
