You posted a link to one of their opinion-based blog posts, then two propaganda pieces from fricking Leangains of all places.

Post an actual study, explain it, and explain how you think it proves that anything I've said is incorrect. That should be pretty damn simple.

I posted a million studies. I said the studies were linked in the article. I linked the lean gains article that has the study linked.

DID YOU READ A frickING THING I linked, Jesus fricking christ!!!

Oh and did you really just laugh at leangains considering Martin is one of the few that actually reads the damn studies.

please tell me where i was wrong and I will be happy to admit it. DO it all the time.

I'm happy to compare IQs with you any day.

Kinda strange that eating two meals is healthier than eating three meals, but every military in the world feeds their soldiers three meals a day during training (except of course in special ops training where the objective is to learn to operate on less food than is recommended) seems to me like the US Army for example, would say "Hmmm, 2 meals a day would be more conducive to getting our soldiers in the condition we want them in than 3" if that were true.

Yet the study you linked to start off shows this exact thing. Though Im sure the US ARMY is on the cutting edge of fat loss nutrition considering they are worried about performance.

Dumbest argument I have ever scene. DO you understand there is a huge difference in performance, health and fatloss?

And what's a typical soldier's day look like between 6AM and 5PM compared to an white collar American?

To hold weight successfully, you have to get calories in to equal calories out, without strong hunger or cravings. To lose weight, it's the same equation except come up about 500 calories per day short (and holding hunger to a manageable level).

My personal view is that there is no "one size fits all" approach to how to do this, and because of that, old adages such as "Breakfast is the most important meal of the day" are NOT universal truths.

Calorie use profiles vary dramatically between people, so it makes some sense to leave yourself open to adjusting your calorie intake profile accordingly.

I'm diabetic, so unfortunately I don't have much of a choice but to play around with my diet. So for me, my calorie use profile has me sitting at a desk most of the day and then stopping at the gym for an hour on my way home from work. So, I burn about 3000 calories per day, and nearly 1/3 of them are between 5:30 and 6:30PM. I was struggling with being hungry after dinner, which is a time when I'm at home, so I have access to food. I didn't always have the willpower to hold a 500 cal/day deficit and be hungry with access to food at the same time.

Corrective action: Drop the 500 cal breakfast and replace it with it a 500 cal snack at about 4PM. Problem solved, at a 500 cal/day overall deficit, I was mildly hungry shortly before lunch - at a time when I don't much access to food, and can look forward to a meal within an hour or so instead of trying to willpower myself through the night. I've dropped 20 lbs and all of my blood work is excellent (diabetically speaking).

You mean the one that was referenced much earlier?

I guess I'll just continue to wait for that proof.

A pound of chicken a bag of frozen brocolli is $4 total. A big Mac and fries is double that.

you said the following in reference to Intermittent fasting and my assertion that it helps control calorie intake

If you're talking about behaviors in people, which we are, it absolutely matters.

I pointed out that you are wrong

leangains

Leangains is one of the best sites on the internet. Alan Argon might like to sexually harass women, but is considered a pillar in the nutrition science department. Even he says Martins work is correct. Alans AAR site has reviewed Martins work and says it is correct. So has Lyle McDonanld, Eric Helms, Greg Nuckels, Layne Norton....you know only the who is who of nutrition science.

but yea I am the one that is wrong gtfo.

This.

Show me where any fast food is cheaper than healthy food from the grocery.

It's not the availability or price of food, it's the people.

And it's pathetic that Trump ended most of the program simply because Obama's name was attached to it. Just pitiful.

That's not why it ended... It was because kids were throwing it all in the trash. It was extremely wasteful, but definitely noble.

Don't buckle under to your crying child, either. Starve the lil fricker, if need be.
