6 months....interviewed for my current job and didn't get it, so I took another job....I didn't really want the other job, but it was time to make a move, 6 months later, the job I interviewed for emailed me and asked if I was still interested.....the job that I took had low stability and the boss was a douche so I jumped ship immediately

Yeah, that's surprising. Even as a 16 year old I gave my two weeks notice and I was just bagging groceries for the summer. I knew my job waiting tables in BR wasn't for me after 2 shifts, but I gave them a two weeks notice as to not screw up the schedule. I easily could have walked back into any of those jobs and gotten them back since I left on good terms.

About 3 weeks.I was hired as an Inventory Manager for and Inventory Service. Day usually started around 2:30 am and some days I would work 24 hours straight. They had strict driving rules, and most of the employees did good not to drool on themselves when they ate their lunch so I pretty much had to drive everywhere. We had another manager who was supposed to train me, but he never came into work, but would call me on my off days to come into the office to have meetings, but would never show up for.So here I am driving on like 5 hours sleep for three days while he stays at his hotel and never does his share of the workload. I had to supervise a inventory count in which the degenerates they hired decided to steal inventory. I told the place to call the police and about 4 employees were arrested. I had interviewed for the job I have now and they sent me the offer letter that same day. I called my wife to drive and pick me up because I was done. Left the van and all the equipment sitting in Atlanta and rolled out. Manager called freaking out, and I told him to have the other manager who hasn't done shite come pick everything up and not to call me again.

I didn't think about it till this thread.

I started working at 14 and I've never had a job less than 2 years.

Shortest was my first job out of college at 2.5 years.

Selling Direct TV at Sam's. I made money, but realized it was pretty much a pyramid scheme a week in. They're still hooking people into it today.

I worked as a student coach at a jr high coaching football my senior yr in college. After the season they told me they wanted to keep me around at the student coach price for baseball season. I didn't stick around, but it wasn't because of the $. I was in college and used to working for peanuts, but that Spring semester was a lot tougher than the fall. (thanks French 102).
