I hated them all. Going shopping for school supplies and school uniforms was absolutely my least favorite thing to do as a child. Looking back though I guess I liked the black and white notebooks because they took such a beating without falling apart.

Man, you are so right. I hated school. fricking hated it. I was ADD/ADHD and all that shite but I made really good grades so I didn't get the drugs. Just lots of detention and suspension. But when I had to go school supply shopping it was like going to a funeral. Another glorious summer gone.

This is true.

But that's why they are always required. Just require mechanical pencils with a certain amount of refills or the requisite amount of traditional pencils (probably like 4)
