Pencil "eraser" toppers. Just useless.

I dunno, but I used to hate it when I'd see those "back to school sale" ads. It's still fricking summer, dammit!

I had to laugh earlier today when I saw a dude at the cash register buying school supplies...he was bitching because his daughter's school supply list said she had to bring 50 pencils to school...

Well for little ones it's much easier for them to sharpen a pencil than refill lead. And aren't pencils dirt cheap??

Cheap mechanical pencils that advance by pushing the eraser end--impossible to keep from getting a bunch of lead whenever you have to erase something.

They've been putting school supplies out in most stores the last few weeks and I've been taunting my kids every time we see some. "Are you ready to shop for school supplies?"

I don't have kids but was looking at a coworkers list for her pre-k daughter. Clorox wipes, zip lock bags, hand sanitizer, etc. Seems a bit much and that those things should included in the tuition price.

I remember that my favorite thing to do in grade school was to put a bunch of glue on my hand and let it dry. Then I'd peel it off like I was peeling skin.
