A 1975 Ford F150.

I drove it about 30K miles, before selling it to a friend; over the years, it has passed from friend to friend, to where it is still in the hands of a HS friend's son, and still rolling down the roads as it approaches 40 years of age. I see it about once a month, out and about, and it brings back great memories.

First car - Ford Falcon
Second car - Rambler, don't laugh. Push button transmission.

First cat I bought - brand new '74 Gran Torino for $3,600.

1990 Ford Bronco 2, got it in '95 as a sophomore in high school.

We only kept it until high school graduation, when I got a used Maxima.

The Ford, although I was thankful to have it, was indeed a piece of shite. We had constant problems. It had a solid engine and tranny, but everything else was crap. Cracked radiators, busted solenoid, 2 alternators, constant alignment problems, etc. I only had it for about 2 years and it had just hit 100,000 miles.

I'm now on my second Nissan car with over 100,000 with minimal problems. frick Ford in the face. I'll never own another one.

That being said, you mentioned a Grand AM. My wife had one of those when we met. Holy shite, Pontiac has Ford topped on pieces of shite. That thing was a nightmare. Now she's in a Tundra, solid as frick.

I told my dad get me anything but a Volkswagen which of course is what he brought home. It lasted about fifteen minutes because I turned in front of someone the first time I drove it. He always thought I did it on purpose which was untrue I really turned in front of the guy because I didn't see him.

Got this as a handme down from my mom in 1977

Got my first speeding ticket in this jalopy 77 in a 45. Had to go to court with my dad and got a 6 months suspended sentence. If I got another ticket within 6 months they would revoke my license.

Put a Craig cassette player in it with Jensen 6x9 coaxials that would come back to haunt me later.

Lasted until the floorboards rusted out and the transmission blew.
Bought this beauty from my brother for $250 to replace the four door impala:

Since this was a two door, the rear shelf where the speaker go was too small for my jensen 6x9's. That didn't stop me from using them though. When I got in my first wreck, rear ended someone that was stopped on a blind curve, the speakers flew forward and hit me in the head.

1985 Toyota Camry in 1993. As a senior in high school I drove an 8 year old Camry.

I am now 38 and drive a 2007 Toyota Camry, which is 7 years old. I have not advanced very far in the automobile dept.

Got my first automobile in 1963. My dad woke me early one Saturday morning and told me he wanted me to ride with him to Jacksonville.

We arrived at Langley Oldsmobile Buick & Jeep. There sat a beautiful, brand new little Willys CJ5, with a Hurricane 4 cyl. engine, 3 speed transmission with Warn manual Hubs & canvas top ($1860 sticker price)lol. Kept it for many years.

First car was a 1963 1/2 Ford Falcon Sprint. Red with Black interior, 4 speed, 260 CID V8. I want another just like it before I take the Dirt Nap.

I had a '70 Cutlass Supreme, same body style as the '72. 350 2V, 3 speed auto. Dark red with a black vinyl interior. The A/C system slowly leaked freon, I'd recharge it on Friday afternoons and it would last until Sunday. I'm to blame for climate change. Not a bad ride. Sold it to go off to school.
