First, For better rest practice good sleep hygiene. If that doesn't help, utilize sleep reduction.
Anxiety, progressive muscle relaxation, diaphragmatic breathing. Don't avoid things that make you anxious, only makes it worse, more debilitating.
Couple these techniques with mental health therapy and psychopharmacology if needed.
Good luck

On a serious note, it is very concerning when someone is triggered by their kids and openly admits that.
I'm glad there are therapists involved, but I do send prayers for those kids and I hope we don't see them on the news one day. Because when someone admits that they have all these mental disorders and they need all this help, it could just be a play for attention, especially when the person seems to be so desperate for attention. But it could really be a disturbed person. And there are kids involved.
Definite mental issues at work here. Continued prayers for safety for the kids. I hope the therapists have a handle on things and don't just give lip service to keep the money coming in.

You're white, right? You sound like you need to find a board certified Anxiety Therapist Analyst.
I'll bet a qualified one, as they call them, Anal-Rapist would have no trouble turning you around.

Rape is not a laughing matter.
An ex-girlfriend of mine was gang raped by a troupe of mime artists.
They performed unspeakable acts on her.
To date, she doesn't talk about it and neither do they.

If only she could have broken out of their invisible box! Prayers sent.
Bet those frickers raided all her makeup too.
