I wanted to get some late night walking in, but one of BRs finest was shining lights into peoples cars and told me to leave.

Are you talking about the park? I don't think the park or anywhere on the lake is shut down at night. Maybe something happened today and that prompted the cop to run you off.

You're a female? I mean walking the lakes and cop fearing for your safety says alot.

I'm pretty sure all BREC parks close at 9pm on weekdays.

Park closes at dusk.

I got a trespassing ticket there once for being there after dark.

Went to talk to the city attorney and it was dropped after a lecture about how unsafe it was and that it is a hangout for gays and gangs.

Doesn't close

I wouldn't recommend a girl walking around by herself though

Cop just wanted to jerk it in the parking lot to S&M on his taxpayer-bought laptop hooked up to cruiser's audio- would you want some dude running around? Have some empathy bruh.

Chicks are safe if they're jogging at a medium pace.
It makes thugs think they're dangerous, and have a particular set of skills.

One of the most dangerous places you can exercise in the dark. Not for just crime either. You literally can't see your feet in front of you in some nooks of the lakes at night particularly along Dalrymple path heading up to city Park. Find a well lit neighborhood. Or Park around the Bulldog and walk the sidewalk on Perkins.

I remember when the lakes were jumpin around 9 pm. Chicks would joy, or yog, and get dressed to throw it after. They'd be on a runners high when they got drunk.

Those were the days.
