For fricks sake, the guy thinks he is visiting friends and you're silently shite talking him because he's not meeting your imagined standards of "what a man should do" on a Sunday.

I see differently. If a good friend of mine invites me to stay with them...I would see it as possibly an insult to them if got my own hotel instead. I have friends that have nice guest rooms in their homes set up because they love having friends and family stay with them on occasion.
