Knew a guy who was in my Tues Thurs class and he lived in Houston. Only came 1x per week unless he absolutely had to be at both classes. That was his only class left to graduate.

I've known multiple Mandeville/Covington commuters.

When I lived with my parents, I commuted from Walker. The drive there wasn't bad (40 minutes), but if I didn't get the frick off campus by 4pm, it would be a 2-hour drive home.

Lived off Juban Rd for a while, holy crap before they finished construction on I12 I would be stuck in traffic FOREVER.

Now I live off of 190 in between Juban and Range and now that construction is finished it takes about 40 minutes give or take

Ruston? Holy crap. That's a good 3:30/4 hour drive at the least.

I knew a guy when I was in school who commuting from Thibodaux. I think early on he tried to get all his classes on Tuesday and Thursday, but that becomes difficult in your later semesters. Maybe he had a place to stay some nights.

He was college-aged, so not really sure why he didn't just move to BR. Maybe he didn't want to take out loans to live on/near campus.

Yea its getting similar for my last two semesters. Hard to get a convenient schedule when there's so few sections for the last classes

I have a coworkers who's daughter goes to LSU. She lives in Bourg. Only has a couple classes left though. That's about a 2 hr drive twice a week.

I had an ex LSU baseball player in my fianance class last year who drove from Houston every Tuesday/Thursday. He was coming back to finish his degree after trying out the big leagues. Said he'd leave at 4 am each morning and wasn't bad but the drive back sucked.

I went to school with an older guy that had a place in BR and stayed during the week and would fly home to Minneapolis on the weekends to stay with his wife and kids

That must've cost a small fortune.
