I was just telling my wife yesterday that it seems like 10 years ago I would’ve came home from the office and simply said, “that was some bad weather today, huh.”
Instead, we were all prepared for Day After Tomorrow weather and left with a “that’s it?” feeling.

You hear people saying I’ll take a hurricane because you know it’s coming and can prepare.
The weather people are just trying to prepare you because the possibility of a tornado is there.
Just like a hurricane can change course and you prepared for nothing, a tornado can not happen and you prepared for nothing.
I’d rather be informed in both cases.
