I suppose that varies greatly for everyone. I've seen people rationalize one time sex outside marriage as not being unfaithful.

To be consistent, that has to refer to 17% of the cheaters not of all marriages.

A 2016 Gallup poll had Hillary Clinton winning in a landslide.

It starts out "harmless".

"I just need someone to talk to and I feel so open with you."

It's baby steps until they cross the point of no return. Then it's a sprint.

Man, come here and let me give you a hug. No homo. You seem so. So mad. So angry.

He's just describing reality, don't see how he's angry

Really I'm fine. This sort of stuff is cathartic. And once you understand what the drug, what that rush is like, you can kind of understand the whole mindset.

I was naive when it happened to me. And that was only the emotional part but that was enough. Once that bridge is crossed there's no turning back.

After that I had nothing to stop me really. I was in the state of mind where I just said yes to everything. And man when I saw how common it was it blew my mind.

It's kind of sad really.

Better at cheating. It's easier for them to hide it.

And that's before getting into the average woman just has more opportunities to be discreet.

Housewife or part-timer easy mode.

Guy or lady that works at the office, everyone will know way fast.

Probably the best thing to happen to me if I'm brutally honest. Went from a damn near sexless marriage in a downward spiral where I'd get no affection. (When the end finally came she told me she didn't love me and never loved me). Had it kept on I may have just said frick it all. Definitely went through my mind a bunch during that period.

Took a long time but I did self improvement and had my eyes opened to the way things really worked and man...man oh man oh man. Great time to be single, especially once you know what you are doing. I did a lot of naughty, but extremely fun things and learned a hell of a lot.

Agree. Nothing you've said sounds remotely bitter. Just eyes wide open realistic. People have no idea how common it is until that world is opened to them, either by friends who share experiences or after it happens to them, specifically. I was SO naive.

In 2017 I'd almost be willing to bet women are close or have surpassed men in this category.
Today's bitches are scandalous!

I'm good staying in my box. I probably couldn't handle it if my current woman cheated on me. I could but it'd be tough.

And it would be hard for me to suppress my former self, which would kill them both in an instant. That sounds extremely crazy now that I think about it but I'm sure it's happened again to better men.
