What made you want to marry your current SO?

Been a lot of marriage topics on board today so let’s talk about the lighter side of marriage which is why you wanted it in the first place! I’m in a pretty good spot right now, been dating this girl for over a year and a half and the topic of potential marriage has come up a few times but I haven’t really felt the dread of it. Very smart girl (4.0 average) has ambitions of becoming a practitioner, and is genuinely one of my best friends. Raised in a good home, Christian family (even if her mom is kinda crazy) and above all is a very loving and caring person. O-T, why did you decide to marry?
