OP asked what part of the interaction was a crime. There were 4 charges presented to him. Now, OP was really just some low-hanging fruit to bitch about supposed unfair treatment for the prick from Ohio attacking an MSNBC reporter when, supposedly, leftists can do whatever they want with impunity.

Reporter has more sanity than me because if someone walks up on me like that, I'm drawing my pistol. The in your face part at the end I am referring to, not the initial walk up part.
