The species is Covidia Positiva. Mostly found in AA neighborhoods with high crime rates.

Serious answer, it’s a southern black king racer. AKA, Jody Snake, they prey at night usually when you’re out of town.

Looks like a racer. Round pupil - and not a coral snake - not poisonous.

Looks like Dekays.
I have them come around in the spring and fall when gardening.
