I haven't been in one in 30 years, but I used to go to hobby shops for model airplane stuff, even kits and materials for gas- powered flying model planes.

My wife, mother, sisters, and every other female that I know. I actually don't mind going in with my family because everyones creative juices get to flowing. My kids break off to the small craft stuff and I to the wood working. The prices are legit snd my wife makes really cool shite that saves me money. Pinterest is a mfer but I'm not scared to cut out Mickey Mouse ears and party decorations for my kids when it saves me a couple $100. Get with the program OT.

I buy most of my drawing, painting, and framing supplies from Hobby Lobby because they have more to choose from and cost less than Michael's. I never look around the store, just head straight to the art supplies in the back.
