Some of those suggestions might be helpful for a mild toothache but if the swelling gets to the point where your eye is closing, antibiotics is the correct answer.

Take 600-800 mg of Ibuprofen AND smoke a bowl. Will be good to go.

Press on the gum with your finger and see if any pus comes out. If it does you can get an rx for antibiotics online.
