Always been pretty good. Better as I got older and life slowed down a little. We go to a few football games a year and play golf pretty regular. When I get another boat we will get back to fishing again.

My Dad cheated death three times this past fall. He is alive and kicking now. I will not take my time with him for granted.

Good, hes been a tremendous source of wisdom and encouragement for me especially lately.
Reading this thread made me sad. My dad is a great man, has some faults, but so do I. I cant imagine having a deadbeat dad. One of the common traits of all of my close friends is that we have great dads.

I haven't spoken to him in three years.

My Dad is one of my best friends. We golf and fish together. Talk on the phone every other day if not every day. Mom passed away when I was 7. He raised my brother and I by himself.

I've always had a really good relationship with my old man. Which is saying a lot because I put him through a lot of crap in my younger days. I'm now 32 so we're more "buddies" at this point.

Me and my dad have had a good relationship all throughout my life. Wouldn't want it any other way.

It's okay...think he did the best he could and if he didn't I can't fix that.
I was closer to my maternal grandfather and father-in-law, truth be known

I think we really start understanding our father better after we have done some walking in his shoes as a father and as a man.

Lost mine 10 years ago. Enjoy yours while you have him.
