I have never heard of having a child's bday party in the mall. What do they do? Just run around the mall.

I went to a build a bear party once. It lasted for one hour. I saw the parent check out for over 500$.

We had a Build a Bear party for one of ours. Total price was around $300
In the past, we've had birthday parties at our home and rented the inflatables. By the time you add in food and cake, they cost more than $300. After the party, you're still left with a mess to clean up.

BTW, the trashiest parties we've attended have been at Chuck E. Cheese.

I've only seen them when people had a party at Build a Bear. I don't know about MoL but our location doesn't have a party room and you can't do food or cake in the store. So if you want to have cake, you do it in the food court or arrange to have it in a mall restaurant.

It is one of the reasons I didn't have one of my daughter's parties there, I thought having the cake in the food court was lame.

In the bossier mall, there is a spa for kids. I guess little miss prisses would like that. I saw a party going on and it seemed like they were having a blast, looked like they were around six or seven years old.

Doesn't bother me.

I never go to a mall, seems convenient for the kid if a lot of money is received.

Metrocenter mall

Last time I set foot in it was 1985. It was going South then. From 1/4 of a mile away since then it screams "Stay Away!"

I thought it would have been razed by now. It can't be generating much revenue versus the "difficulties" of maintaining it.

You obviously skimped on the deluxe package.

I have all my kids b'day parties at the mall. What I do is get about 5-6 rolls of quarters, unwrap them, throw the in the air and shout "BOLO!" The lucky ones then run down to the arcade and I don't have to see them for 3 hours. The unlucky few I order them to harass all the independent kiosk vendors out on the central strip. I give them good shoplifting tips, and instruct them on the most annoying questions to ask them. My wife and I then sit back at the massage kiosk and watch the chaos unfold. Better than TV, I tell ya!

Considering the number of preverts and postverts at the mall, dangerous is an understatement.
