The tradeoff? She hates oral sex
Have you known this since early in your relationship, or has it changed over time?

Well then don't give it to her.

Love the hell out of my 5 year old. Very intelligent, considerate, all the teachers in school love him, as well as a lot of other people he comes across. He leaves such an indelible impression on people. I really enjoy having a kid and want another.
Trade off:
My family lives in Philly and San Antonio. My wife's family lives in Terrebonne Parish. We have a group of friends that always vacay together and we cant go, because we don't have anyone to drop our kid off to for a week.

Philly suburbs are beautiful especially Chesterbrook, where they live.
San Antonio is amazing, and I actually like Houma.

I have an amazingly easy job that pays extremely well. The trade off is that I had to give up recreational drug use.

I have a good job that pays well enough for us to live comfortably. We cant just go out and buy whatever we want, but we’re fine. There are absolutely better paying opportunities and growth in other locations, but we live in an excellent community with excellent schools and my wife has a good paying job for her chosen career.
So....my tradeoff is probably the same as 90% of the other middle class dudes. We have great stability and good comfort at the tradeoff of stagnation and complacency which drives me batshit sometimes.
