Seriously though, is there a method to choosing?

Another thing I look for is lighters and smoking pipes(Zippo's, Dunhill). I have picked up a few Dunhill pipes for pennies and sold for $100-$300 each.

I have boxes full of those I have found at houses.

One house I manage the guy had passed and no family was left so EVERYTHING he owned was left behind. He was late 30s and apparently was a Star Wars and Star Trek nerd. The bank told us to chunk everything. I went through it and grabbed all of the stuff before my workers chunked the junk

Sold it all for a little over $4K

I left the gay porn DVDs behind though

Here's a shop of a house I did a few weeks back

Yep. I have in storage a mule, 3 wheeler, a few mowers, and all those tools. The people have 2 more weeks to claim it until I can do what I want with it.

I find these pretty regularly in repo houses and have chunked a few. I guess I need to start keeping them.

I bet you have a treasure trove right under your nose, but you just don't have any idea half of it exists.

Do you ever plan to sell copies of that TS pic? You could do a couple limited edition runs and make some serious $$$

Do you think you have the only copy in existence?

No I know what I can sell and what is junk. I took a bunch of stuff to a local auction last week and cleared $1K off of it.

The Singer machines I chunked were really bad rusted and shite from being in outbuildings and maybe would have been worth $20. I sent them to the scrap iron pile.

I have actually kept the few good ones I found.

I did think I got lucky a few weeks ago when I told my guys to bring an old organ to the shop I had spotted in a house and put in the sale pile. It only auctioned off for $10

1955 Sandy Koufax rookie in a $5 bundle.

I went back the next day and gave him a $100. Lists for $1,500. I felt bad.

It's framed and hanging on my wall.

My best friend and I have a deal. Whoever dies first has to go clean out the others house before anyone gets there.

I'm in the market for an Ice Bowl program. 1947 Cotton bowl, LSU vs ark. Can you help me out?

I love programs. I have a program for every Sugar bowl ever. Also 2 ticket stubs to every Saints home game ever. Etc.

Willing to trade parts of collection. I will not break the Sugar Bowl set however.

Please check. Each one online is in horrible condition bc of weather.

My Dad and I have plenty to trade. Football and baseball.

Highlight of collection - every Topps baseball set since 1953. We won't break that run, but it gives you an idea what we working with.

I bought a box of 80s records for $10, probably worked out to 20-25 cents each. One was a very rare white vinyl version of an early Metallica single... sold it on ebay for $275. That's my one real score.

I collected LSU for 7-8 years and had one. Paid $300, sold for $800. Before that one, i had never seen one before because many (most) were destroyed in fire barrels at the game.
I have since seen a half dozen or so on eBay, they started high ($800-$1200 each), but they have been coming down. I think the last one went for about $400, all in the same poor condition.

I do sell copies and have made some good money on it. I cannot get into it because admins will get on me.

I own the only true copy of it, but it is in the 1925 yearbook.
