When our boss got back from Europe, he told us we had a bad year and there would be no bonuses.
The next week he made up for it by donating 20k to his favorite charity in our name.
What a swell guy.

Ours gives us our Christmas bonus in November. This year it was a extra full months paycheck. Nice of management to share the wealth.

I have about 200 employees. I give ‘em $100. Wish I could do more but it adds up.

Same thing I have gotten for 23 years, nothing. Contractors are never remembered.
Ain't that the truth. We do what no one else wants to do or wants to manage. We relieve a headache from a salaried-someone else. And because we want our contract renewed, our productivity numbers are high and our attentiveness to the ever-changing needs of the organization will be as fast as is reasonably possible, always trying to demonstrate our value.
I'm not bitter, but thankful for the opportunity.
