Your heart can probably take it, it's the systemic strain on the other organs (kidneys, liver, etc) that becomes problematic.

116/77 pulse 68....with medication.

Got a battery operated BP Cuff.

eta:It was 165/98 5 years ago.

My Doctor put me on Amlodipine.It didn't lower it.So he added another one.He actually called me to see if my bp was down the day I started the 2nd med.It worked.

Pacemaker?

Got a CRT-D, still my BP is all over the place. And yes, a shite load of meds. This morning, 105/53. By this afternoon it will hit 140+/65.

Oh, pulse will stay a 60 .
