I thought I was playing max bet on a slot machine one night(I have no idea what I'm doing) but wasn't. I got a royal flush and won $850 instead of 21k.

This one paid out pretty good at Winstar Casino for me over the past few days:

This one put on a good show, but didn't pay much:

Wild Cherry machine is one of the best bets on slots because it will hit a jackpot at a higher volume than just about any other machine. About the same as a double diamond. Why? The payout.

Five and ten times pay machines pay more, but hit less.

Penny machines. All hit less because of the rate of return. Machines like Ellen and Wheel of Fortune hit even less because they pay royalties to use the name and they are linked machines.

Best bet in this type venue? Video Poker. Look at the payoff for flush and full house for the key as to the locked in payoff and of course that goes with what game choice you pick. Double-Double is probably the most popular. Straight Jacks or Better and 2s Wild hit more often, but for less of a payoff.

Video poker is a locked odds. Up to 99 percent payback, or better. All casinos have 98 percent or higher. That's if you know how to play and play the way you are suppose to play it consistently.

Slots pay out at anywhere from 84 to 98 percent. It's a crap shoot.

Once again, you're welcome

Luh me some wheel of fortune. I never touch a trashy penny slot.

On a side note, is anyone interested in some old Vegas stuff?

Old chips, match books, glass panels from old casinos. I'm not all done going through my dad's stuff.
